This course is designed for licensed professionals who want to learn the details of working with chemical peels within the scope of practice and how to choose the correct acid for each skin type. Often times, acids such as glycolic and lactic are discussed in a basic school, but the reality is that there are a vast number of acids and solutions available on the market. We will go into depth on multiple AHA and BHA products to really look into the science and structure of each acid type. Particular focus will be on treating hyperpigmentation/melasma, as well as aging skin types.
